Tifton - Two Tift County citizens made purchases on E-BAY, then received a confirmation email from someone they thought was with the company. They were asked to provide personal information, including credit card numbers. Someone then used that information o make purchases.
Tift County Public Information Officer David Haire says, "You should never divulge information over your email account, and send out credit card or account information. So it basically boils down to don't respond to any unsolicited emails and you're not going to have a problem with it."
