Mayor receives terroristic threats

Fitzgerald- A South Georgia man is arrested for threatening the mayor of Fitzgerald.

Investigators have not released any details about the threat, but say 50 year old Walter William Mitchell was taken into custody Friday night and charged with two felony counts of terroristic threats and terroristic acts.

Mayor Gerald Thompson won't comment specifically on the case, but says U.S. Postal officials are also investigating the threats against him.

Thompson says he will release a statement concerning the arrest Monday.
