    Some folks in South Georgia frantically tried to get in touch with loved ones who live near the destruction in Oklahoma. Leesburg's Wendy Mathis has a brother who lives in Oklahoma City and works in Bethany, just 10 miles north of Moore. Albany native Liz Barfield recently relocated to a city nearby Moore, Oklahoma.

Moultrie - 24-year old John Leon Strong Junior of Moultrie surrendered at the Colquitt County jail Monday morning. Strong is charged with felony murder for the death of Eric Alderman of Valdosta who was found shot near his car early Sunday morning on 5th Street Southwest in Moultrie.

Sgt. Roger Lindsay says, "We don't have a motive at this time. We're still looking into it. We've got people that still need to be interviewed and statements taken, but I can't comment on any motive right now."

According to the incident report, just before Alderman died, he told police someone name "Big Mill" or "Big Milton" shot him. Alderman was 24 years old.
