Moultrie- Twenty-five year old Eric Alderman of Valdosta was shot in the chest as he sat inside his car in a 3rd Avenue SW neighborhood.
He staggered to a nearby home to get help, but later died at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Police are following several leads but haven't identified a suspect or motive.
Preliminary autopsy results are expected by the end of the week.
