Clyattville - South Georgia students are emptying their pockets to help victims of the tsunamis.

Clyattville Elementary School is having a penny drive to raise money for recovery efforts in Southern Asia. All of the money collected will be given to the United Methodist Committee on Relief and sent to areas devastated by the tsunamis.

"It's for the children over there who lost their parents, so they can have food," said Rosa Velasco.

The penny drive ends February 7th. The class that collects the most pennies will be rewarded at the end of the drive.
