A Lowndes County man is behind bars after deputies uncovered nearly half a million dollars of marijuana.
Albany- The mayor and city commission have formed a citizen's police review panel.
If you're not satisfied with how police handle your complaints, you can voice concerns to the seven member board.
"A lot of people will not go directly to the police. They feel somewhat intimidated. I think they feel more relaxed when their fellow citizens listen to what they have to say," say Mayor Willie Adams.
The mayor and each commissioner chose one person to sit on the board. There is still one position to be filled. The panel cannot overturn decisions made by the police department but will be able to make recommendations for the city commission to review.
