Lee County- Troopers say Rick Lawson was headed west on Highway 520 when a car cut him off. He swerved and clipped the tire of another truck driven by Warren Brookins.

Brookins truck ran off the road, crossed the median and both east-bound lanes, and landed on its side in the ditch.

"He had some abrasions from what I was told. He was transported before I got here, but I think he's going to be all right. He's very fortunate," says Trooper Don Berger.

Lawson tried to turn around to check on Brookins and also got stuck in the ditch. No charges have been filed, but the wreck is still under investigation.
