Albany - It may soon be cheaper to fly out of south Georgia airports.

ASA will be included in Delta's SimpliFares lower ticket price cut plan.

The flights from the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport in Albany and the Valdosta Regional Airport are operated by ASA.

Delta plans to cut its more expensive domestic fares as much as 50 percent. No one-way coach ticket will cost more than $499, and no one-way first class ticket will cost more than $599.

Delta Airlines will also reduce the price to change a ticket price from $100 to $50.
