Snow in South Georgia?

January 1, 2005

Valdosta - With temperatures climbing into the seventies, it doesn't look like we'll see any snow falling in South Georgia, so some people are making their own. Adel ice company brought in more than 100 tons of ice to Wild Adventures on Saturday.

They used an ice chopper to make fresh powdered snow, perfect for tubing, and even having a snowball fight. Snow days will run until February 28th.
