Albany - Albany native and music legend Ray Charles continues to find success even after his death. His final recording "The Genius of Ray Charles" has been nominated for 10 Grammy awards, including Best Album of the Year, Best Pop vocal, and Record of the Year.

One Albany music story sold out of the record, and employees say it's been a hot gift this Christmas. More than 3-million copies of the album were shipped worldwide. It features new duets with Charles and world renowned artists, such as Gladys Knight and James Taylor.

Also, the movie "Ray" starring Jamie Foxx received several Golden Globe nominations. The movie shows Ray Charles' life in rural Georgia and follows his trail to musical success.

Charles died in June at 73 years old.
