Columbus- After south Georgia teams won three of the five state titles, it should come as no surprise that the South beat the North 13-0 at the annual Georgia Athletic Coaches Association/
All-Star football game in Columbus.
Douglass running back James Davis' 20 yard run in the second half was the only touchdown of the game.
As a pass rush led by Lowndes Willie Wright and Early County's Dan Foster simply overwhelmed the North offense.
Tony Wright of Peach County and Dirk Engram of North Clayton were named the game's most valuable players.
