Albany - Most people try to help the less fortunate during the holidays, but volunteers at one outreach program hope you'll start giving year around.

"Hope for the Hopeless," on East Broad in Albany gave away toys, food, and clothing to a line of people Tuesday morning. Wednesday, the volunteers are taking gifts to the homeless and to the families of people in jail.

Founder, Annie Davis, urges you to remember people in our community are in need of help all year. "Twice a week we give food. We have no grants. We walk by faith, and people just bless us to help these people," said founder Annie Davis.

To find out how you can help "Hope for the Hopeless" visit them at 1806 East Broad in Albany.
