Valdosta - More flu vaccines are now available in South Georgia.

Nearly 3,700 shots have been distributed to health departments in the 10 county South Health District. Flu season usually peaks in this area around January of February... so it's not too late to get vaccinated.

Only people who meet the C.D.C. guidelines will be able to get a shot. Each vaccination costs $20.00.

The South Health District includes Berrien, Ben Hill, Brooks, Cook, Echols, Irwin, Lanier, Lowndes, Tift, and Turner counties.
