Albany- As we prepare for Christmas, the service men and women in Iraq are often on our minds.

Children who attend the Child Development Center on the Marine Base in Albany saluted those troops Thursday with a special performance.

Many of those children have loved ones who are overseas. Tykerion Parrish's father is there and he had a message for him today.

"Merry Christmas and I love you," Tykerion said flashing his big grin.

Tykerion says his dad hopes to be home in March.
