Albany- Monday night's school board meeting was the last for Chairman C.W. Grant.
The school system honored Grant and his six years of service on the Dougherty County School Board. Grant has served as the board's chairman for the past four years.
He is known for not trying to micro-manage the system. James Bush will replace Grant in January representing District 5.
