Winter Haven, FL - A South Georgia amusement park owner reopened a popular Florida tourist attraction Thursday.
Thousands of park-goers turned out for the grand opening of Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven. The gardens closed last year because of competition with other Florida parks.
Wild Adventures owner Kent Beuscher bought the park for 7 million dollars and added dozens of new attractions.
There are now four new roller coasters, new restaurants, 34 other rides, as well as the famous water skiers and southern belle greeters.
