December 9, 2004 Adel - A South Georgia hospital is recognized for outstanding patient care.

Home Town Health named Memorial Hospital of Adel "Hospital of the Year" for 2004. The hospital was judged on a number of standards including strategic planning, patient care, business practices and physician recruitment.

"Collection complexities are so difficult that without a good business office you have major problems and they had done a lot of work on their business office and as a result of that have seen some very positive benefits," said Jimmy Lewis, Home Town Health C.E.O.

Home Town Health is made up of 42 rural hospitals and 25 business sponsors in Georgia.
