School administrator resigns

December 7, 2004

Valdosta - A South Georgia school administrator charged with peeping tom has resigned.

The Valdosta City School Board accepted Rick English's letter of resignation at Monday night's meeting.

Investigators say the former assistant superintendent and elementary school principal has been peering into a 15-year-old girl's bedroom in the Stone Creek subdivision.

English has been employed with Valdosta City Schools for 29 years.

His probable cause hearing was postponed last week and will be rescheduled sometime this month.
