Atlanta - Baker County Sheriff Isaac Anderson went to Atlanta to plead his case for keeping his Peace Officer certification.

Anderson went before an assistant Attorney General Thursday afternoon.

Anderson's lawyer, Phil Cannon, says Anderson had to explain last year's conspiracy allegations in which he was accused of falsifying an incident report. Anderson was found not guilty of those charges.

The Attorney General wants a copy of the trial transcripts and delayed the hearing.

The conference was sparked after the POST council recommended to revoke his certification, he appealed those allegations.
