Valdosta - The probable cause hearing of a South Georgia school administrator charged with peeping tom is postponed.

Evidence was supposed to be presented against Rick English of Valdosta in court Tuesday, but the judge granted his lawyer's request for a continuance.

English is the assistant superintendent and finance director for Valdosta City schools and is a former elementary school principal.

Investigators say he was caught peeping into a 15-year-old girl's bedroom in the Stone Creek subdivision. "The state's ready, we've got a good case, we're going forward with the investigation and we feel we've got a good case," said Sgt. Wanda Edwards.

English requested the probable cause hearing to verify that there was enough evidence for him to be charged. The hearing will be rescheduled for some time this month.

English has worked for the Valdosta City School System for 29 years. He's still employed pending the investigation.
