Thomasville - On November 16th, Allen Filmore was pulled over for speeding by a Thomasville Police officer, and then charged with DUI. Filmore is a Deputy with the Thomas County Sheriff's office, but has been on military leave with the Army National Guard for the past 18 months.

Filmore is a 12 year veteran of the Sheriff's Department. The DUI charge is his first offense. Filmore's return to deputy duty will depend on disciplinary action issued by POST, the agency that certifies Georgia law enforcement officers.
