Cook County - We now know the name of a man murdered in Cook County Wednesday.

Robert Reyes is charged with stabbing his roommate, David Shavez, outside their home in the Giddens Trailer Park near Adel. Police say the two argued at work and when they got home, Reyes got a kitchen knife and killed Shavez.

"We looked in the general direction of the woods that a witness told us he ran and we surrounded the back side in case he broke through," said Captain Colin Millison. "Eventually we found him laying down in the woods."

Reyes is in the Cook County jail charged with murder and aggravated assault.
