Sylvester's Interim Police Chief seeks permanent spot

Worth County -- Sylvester's Interim Police Chief says he "is" interested in the keeping the job permanently.

Tony Strenth became the Sylvester's Police Chief as a part of a department turn around plan. He recently lost the election for Worth County sheriff, and now says he's applied to become Sylvester's permanent police chief. Strenth says he can lead the department in the right direction. City officials say they hope to make a decision in early January.
