Thomas County- Johnathon Wooten was captured by police in Tallahassee around 11 AM Sunday morning.
Wooten was arrested in October for robbing a Grady County store clerk at knife point. He escaped from the Thomas County jail Thursday night by jimmying his cell lock and running out the door of the jail.
He will be extradited to Thomas County, and charged with escape. An internal investigation is underway at the Thomas County Jail to determine how he was able to escape.
