Albany -- The company responsible for such sweet favorites as M&M's and Snicker's candy bars celebrates a milestone.

Masterfoods USA turns 40 years-old  Saturday. At a celebration for workers and their families at the Albany plant, leaders pledged to use the next 40 years to giving customers the very best.

"We are putting in a new line. We will be producing Kudos at the end of this year so we are growing in this community," says site director Tracy Homier.

Masterfoods' Snickers and M&M's brands are the most popular chocolate candies in the world. The Albany plant employees 350 people. It produces Combos and roast peanuts for candy.
