Valdosta - A man wanted for robbing and shooting a man in Jacksonville Florida is arrested in South Georgia.

F.B.I. agents arrested 43-year-old Arthur Picklo at his home in Valdosta Thursday. The former investigator for the Florida Department of Insurance is indicted for robbery, obstruction of justice, civil rights violation, and using a firearm in a violent crime.

Investigators say four years ago, while working as an undercover agent for the insurance department, Picklo robbed a man and shot him in the head.

The man survived and Picklo was acquitted of attempted murder charges in 2002.
