Albany-- The Georgia-Auburn football rivalry grows stronger every year. But, the long-standing competition might have met its match!
Georgia bulldog fan Dee Matthews and Auburn Tiger fan Scott Johnson rolled up their sleeves to donate blood for Red Cross.
The two die-hards managed to sit side by side long enough to get the word out about the annual Georgia-Auburn blood drive that kicks off Monday.
Matthews says, "We have won the blood drive every year I have heard!"
Johnson responds, "Well, they may win the blood drive, but not the game!"
The Drive starts Monday at the Donor Center on Dawson Road, across from Merry Acres.
The blood drive is one of the most successful of the year, helping restock supplies before the critical Thanksgiving holidays.
