Thomasville-- An inmate who escaped from a South Georgia mental hospital has been caught in Florida.
Shane Ludington of Fitzgerald was arrested on drug and car theft charges in Tift County. After threatening suicide, he was taken to Southwestern State hospital in Thomasville.
He escaped October 17th, and was caught in Jacksonville last week.
Ludington is now in the Tift County jail under 24 hour supervision.
