Bainbridge - Elijah Walker of Bainbridge pleaded guilty to raping a woman at her home on March 12th. He then stole her car, and fled to Florida. Walker was sentenced 20 years for the crime, with 15 to serve.

District Attorney Elect, Joe Mulholland said, "I'm satisfied for the fact that the victim did not have to go through cross-examination and the trials and tribulations of a trial. I would have been satisfied if he had gotten life without parole, that would have made me happier, but after talking with the victim, she's satisfied, I'm satisfied and he'll spend the next 15 years in prison."

Prosecutors say the victim knew Walker, who had previously been convicted of sexual battery in Florida.
