Tift County- State troopers say heavy fog was likely a factor in an eleven vehicle pile up this weekend.

Monday afternoon, troopers were still working to identify the victims' family members and have not released any of their identities.

They're still not sure why 40 year old Lewis Armentrout plowed his Onyx Trash truck through about dozen cars that were stopped on the interstate Saturday morning.Armentrout's truck along with four other vehicles burst into flames.

Charges have not yet been filed.

Thick fog was also a factor in a weekend wreck that killed a Ben Hill County man.

Thirty-eight year old Glen Cringe of Fitzgerald died when he was thrown from his 2004 Cadillac Saturday morning.

Troopers say Cringe was headed west on Pine Level Church Road in Ben Hill County but was traveling too fast for conditions.

He lost control of his vehicle, ran into the ditch, and hit a telephone pole. Troopers say Cringe was not wearing a seatbelt.
