Baker says his election to P.S.C. good for jobs

November 1, 2004

Albany -- State Public Service Commissioner Bobby Baker pledges to help keep Georgia's economy growing.

Campaigning along with other Republican state leaders, Baker said the Public Service Commission's role is vital to attracting new jobs to Georgia.

Baker said "You have to have affordable and quality utility services to attract new businesses, which will bring new jobs not only to Albany, but throughout the state of Georgia."

Baker is opposed by Mac Barber for the Public Service Commission post.
