Albany -- Albany Police officers' morale is one of the subjects in a training session this week. All of the sergeants in A.P.D. attended the two-day training session, working on Team Building.

Earlier this week several officers told Albany City Commissioners that the chain of command in the Police Department was a problem.

This training session is one way Interim Chief Bob Boren hopes to improve supervisors' work, and overall department morale. Lt. Kenn Singleton said "Anytime a person feels he or she is part of the solution, that makes things just that much better."

The training session is an annual part of the Albany Police Department operations.
