ATLANTA (AP) - General manager Billy Knight said the Atlanta Hawks have released forwards Lonny Baxter and Donnell Harvey.
Harvey was with the team less than one week and played in only three preseason games.
Baxter averaged 3.3 and 3.6 rebounds for the Hawks, who are 1-6 in the preseason.
The moves left the Hawks with 15 players on their roster, including injured forward Chris Crawford, who is out for the season.
The Hawks close out their preseason schedule Thursday night in Pittsburgh against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Atlanta will play its first three regular-season games on the road, including Wednesday's season-opener at Phoenix.
