Valdosta-- Around four o'clock, the man walked into the Briarwood Motel office on Briarwood Road and bought a coke from the drink machine.

He then walked up to the clerk's desk, told her he had a gun in his pocket, and demanded money.

Valdosta Police Capt. Brian Childress said, "We're looking for a guy thats a Hispanic male, 5 foot 8, 180 pounds, he has a goatee and was wearing a brown jacket, white shirt, and had on a pair of blue jeans, dark blue jeans."

Police aren't sure if the suspect was actually carrying a weapon. If you have any information on the case, call the Valdosta Police Tip Line at 229-293-3091.
