Albany -- The Republican in the race for the 2nd district Congressional seat picked up an endorsement from a fellow republican Tuesday.
Dave Eversman was endorsed by Dylan Glenn, who ran for the 2nd district seat in 1996 and 2000. Glenn said that Eversman represents the best interests of South Georgia.
Eversman said "It is a joy to be able to follow in his footsteps, and finish the drill to be the first United States Republican Congressman in the second Congressional district."
