Albany -- Some special visitors came to South Georgia Sunday to prove that one man's junk is truly another man's treasure.

Sunday, Dave Bird and Val Myers, hosts of the popular Turner South show, Junkin' , taped an episode at Kitty's Flea Market in Albany.

The show's hosts visit garage sales and flee markets across America in search of interesting finds and colorful characters.

"I think that initially people tune in to see the wacky junk that we find but I think the sustaining element is the interesting people that find during that way," says host, Dave Bird.

"People like that we are sort of dumb, that we are not experts. On a lot of these shows people are kind of preachy. We know don't anything. I think people like seeing someone just kinda stumble through a flea market," jokes co-host Val Myers.

All the "Junk" Dave and Val pick up at the different sales is put on their website and auctioned off for charity.
