Albany- Women who work for the City of Albany, Dougherty County, and W,G, & L were allowed to take off for three hours Friday to attend the Phoebe Putney Second Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Program.

In addition to breast health information, women got free cholesterol and diabetes screenings.

"I think that from here some women will find out for the first time that they need to see a doctor or something that they need to improve. Like maybe they need to chance their diet," says Darrell Sabbs of the Phoebe Putney Community Health Institute.

More than 400 women attended the event.
