Albany-- In high school football, it has been a frustrating season for the Monroe football team but that has not stopped Tornadoes quarterback Terrance Ransom from having a banner senior season.
Last week against Westover, Terrance Ransom threw for almost four hundred yards and accounted for all four Monroe touchdowns. Ransom ran for one score and threw for three others including a 92 yard bomb.
Monroe lost by 18 points to the rival Patriots but Terrance Ransom's performance earns him our Orthopaedic Associates/The Spine and Brain Center player of the week which was presented to Terrance by Dr. Paul Michas.
A much deserved honor for a quarterback who has had no problem adjusting to a new offense in his senior season. Ransom said, "It has been tough but the coaches have really made it easy on me and the other players and that is all we can do is to keep playing."
Terrance Ransom and his Monroe teammates are hoping to pull off an upset of 9th ranked Cairo Saturday night at Hugh Mills Stadium.
