Fitzgerald- Mark Wilcox, former principal at Warner Robins High, is now in charge at Fitzgerald High.

Wilcox says he'll spend the next few weeks getting to know his staff, students and parents.

"I try to get out during class changes and met with them. Being only the second day here I haven't met with as many as I want to. I'm going to get in the with the student government group and meet with those and hopefully just have a good relationship with the students," says Wilcox.

Wilcox succeeds David Mims. Mims resigned because his teaching certificate was revoked in a scandal over bogus advanced degrees from an on-line university.
