Decatur County - Tyelicia Vickers was gunned down in the middle of a Decatur County intersection on Thursday morning. Her ex-husband, Ronnie Vickers, surrendered to authorities and told them he threw the pistol used to kill her in a creek.
Sunday, just after noon, members of the Thomas County dive team retrieved the gun from the creek using an underwater metal detector. The clip and bullets were found in the woods next to the creek on Thursday afternoon. Ronnie and Tyelicia Vickers were divorced earlier this year.
