Albany -- As outside temperatures drop, you may want something furry to snuggle with. This makes some pet lovers who have too many to care for very happy.

"She's just soft and fluffy and has soft hair coming out of her ears. She's just a wonderful kitty," says Abby Slattery a volunteer with the Humane Society of Terrell County as she cuddles a 4 year old cat.

The kitty is lucky to be alive after being rescued by the Humane Society volunteers from a North Georgia shelter.

"We are a "No Kill" organization, all volunteers. We don't have a shelter. We foster the animals in our own homes and they are treated as our own pets," says Slattery.

Saturday at the Tractor Farm Supply store the Humane Society of Terrell County were looking for people to take these pets home. Animals with cute faces and interesting stories.

"Sparky and his sister were left abandon at the Sasser Flea market the night before the hurricane,"says volunteer Brenda Gresham.

These pets already have all their shots and flea treatments, now all they need is a loving home.

"We want somebody who will provide love and provide vet care, and play time and just provide love for these little guys," says Slattery.
