Terror threat doesn't effect gun sales

October 16, 2004

Albany- Dozens of dealers from all over the state set up shop at Eastman's gun and knife show.

Dealers say after the 9-11 attacks sales were brisk, but since then the demand for guns has tapered off.

"We actually just sell to collectors and people that like guns and do self-defense, but they also like to go out and do target practice," says gun dealer David Moore.

Moore says most customers aren't as concerned about terrorists as they are common criminals.
