Decatur County - 35-year old Ronnie Vickers is charged with killing his wife, 34-year old Tyelicia Vickers, Thursday morning.
Investigators say Vickers kidnapped his wife, as they drove near the intersection of highways 241 and 309 she tried to escape. Deputies say Vickers shot his wife multiple times, left her body lying in the road and drove into Florida.
Vickers later returned to the scene where deputies arrested him. They are still looking for the gun. He told investigators he threw it over a bridge.
