Americus-- Forty-four-year-old David Lamar Wilson was arrested Saturday, charged with one count child abuse battery.
Wilson runs a Christian ministry called The Refuge in Americus, although we couldn't find a record of its existence at City Hall or with the Chamber of Commerce.
Wilson was denied bail Wednesday. He is still at the Sumter County Jail.
