Lee County- Country music fans got a chance to meet a popular singer Wednesday night because Lee County's Wal-Mart sold a lot of Dr. Pepper.
Singer David Lee Murphy autographed his latest CD for store employees before a public signing in the store. Murphy came to the Lee County Wal-Mart because the store had the largest percentage increase sales in Dr. Pepper out of competing stores.
"My record company got involved and we just had a number five record, "Loco", and we've got a new album called "Trying to Get There," so between Dr. Pepper and Wal-Mart, we're having a good time," Murphy said.
David Lee Murphy's latest album is on sale in Wal-Mart.
