Albany- The city's top fireman is back on the job. Chief Jimmie Arrowood returned to Albany Fire Department headquarters today after taking about five weeks off to recover from a heart attack.

He says everything ran smoothly while he was gone, but there is plenty of paperwork to catch up on.

"We've got a great staff. They did an excellent job," Arrowood said. "That's the beauty of this kind of organization. One monkey don't stop the show. They evidently carried on very well in my absence and I appreciate everything they did."

The Chief says he feels better than ever and is exercising and changing his diet.
