Albany -- An Albany High School student is arrested for having sex with another student on campus.
Police say 18 year Quincy Moore and a 15 year old girl had sex at Albany High School yesterday.
At the end of the day, the 15 year old girl reported she had been raped. So now,Moore is in jail charged with statutory rape.
"We take every allegation seriously because we don't want to take a chance anything happening or safety of any our students," says Carlos Keith Deputy Superintendent of Dougherty County School System.
Police believe the sex was consensual, but the 18 year old student was arrested because the girl is under 16 which is the age of consent.
