Thomasville - It was a nice day for a flight today in Thomasville, and if the clear weather continues, organizers of the 37th fly-in expect to see up to 500 planes.

Matt Nesmith says, "This is a lot of fun. It's a good family event. It's something that you can come to and it's free, is the big thing. Come out, see all the airplanes, meet the pilots, walk around right amongst the airplanes. It's just a great time to spend with your family."

All events will be held at the Thomasville Municipal Airport. Everything but food and airplane rides are free. The Fly-In lasts through Sunday.
