Coolidge - Mike Keown of Coolidge is running for House Seat 173, which covers Thomas and Grady counties. Keown is a minister and has held smaller public offices before.

Governor Perdue says his experience and ministry will help him as a representative. "I think that people that are called like that to public service are ministers in a public since. That's the way I see myself, as a calling, of a ministering to public service and that's why I'd vote for Mike Keown," says Perdue.

Keown is running against Democrat Gary Cooper.
