Early County -- The Albany Oxford Construction truck ran off Highway 45 into a ditch. The deadly crash happened around 7:30 this morning, near Damascus.
The driver lost control of his construction truck, and it flipped and caught fire. Three passengers were trapped inside the cab and died.
The victims are 33-year-old George Banks, Junior of Americus, 33-year-old Alexander Brookins of Albany and 32-year-old Clifford Schoolman of Albany.
The driver, 24-year-old Cornelius Johnson of Dawson survived and is in the hospital.
Troopers are waiting on crime lab results to determine if the victims died before or after the cab caught fire. Coming up at six, a co-worker visits the scene and tells us about his friends.
